Evaluation of Project (Semester IV)

As part of the MBA Executive Programme, each learner must comp

Specialization-Aligned Project (6 Credits) during Semester IV.

Nature of the Executive Project:

Conducted within the learner’s organization or an external industry setting
Focused on a real, observable business problem
Includes:

  • Process observation
  • Functional/domain analysis
  • Identification of existing challenges
  • Data collection (qualitative and/or quantitative)
  • Recommendation of feasible managerial solutions
Submission & Evaluation

Learners must submit a detailed Project Report / Dissertation at the end of the project duration.

The evaluation is conducted by an Expert Jury Panel through a Viva-Voce, which assesses:

  • Depth of problem understanding
  • Industry relevance of the study
  • Analytical rigor and use of tools/frameworks
  • Practical feasibility of recommendations
  • Quality of presentation and professional articulation

This capstone project ensures that working professionals apply classroom learning to real organizational challenges, thereby strengthening managerial impact and preparing them for leadership roles.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

A candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university approved by UGC / AICTE. The Bachelor’s degree should be of minimum three years duration (10+2+3 or equivalent system).

Minimum Marks Requirement
  • General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) in the qualifying degree.
  • Reserved Categories (SC / ST / OBC / PwD): Minimum 45% aggregate marks, as per Government of India norms.
Entrance Examination (If Applicable)

Admission may be through a National / State / University-level entrance test, such as:

  • CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT / ATMA
  • State CET or University-conducted entrance test

Final selection may include Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and/or Written Ability Test (WAT).

Work Experience (For Executive MBA)

Candidates applying for the Executive MBA program should preferably have:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of full-time work experience in managerial, supervisory, or professional roles

Work experience may be relaxed or waived for exceptional candidates, as per university policy.

Eligibility for Specialization Tracks

All candidates meeting the above eligibility criteria are eligible to opt for any specialization track.

Preference may be given to candidates with relevant academic background or work experience:

  • FinTech: Commerce, Finance, Economics, Engineering, IT background
  • IT & Analytics: Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics
  • Marketing Analytics / HR Analytics: Management, Social Sciences, or relevant work experience
