At D. Y. Patil International University (DYPIU), innovation is not just encouraged — it is embedded in our DNA. We are committed to nurturing bold thinkers, visionary entrepreneurs, and responsible leaders who create meaningful impact in society.

At the core of this vibrant ecosystem are the Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CIIE) and the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), strengthened by our dedicated incubation arm, Dnyanavishkar Foundation — a Section 8 company established to professionally support and accelerate start-ups.

CIIE acts as the gateway for innovation, transforming ideas into opportunities. It provides structured support for ideation, mentoring, skill development, industry exposure, and entrepreneurial training — enabling students to confidently move from concept to creation. IIC fosters a campus-wide culture of innovation by promoting design thinking, research-driven solutions, intellectual property awareness, and start-up readiness. It inspires both students and faculty to explore, experiment, and innovate beyond traditional academic boundaries.

Taking this journey forward, Dnyanavishkar Foundation serves as the university’s formal incubation platform. As a Section 8 entity, it provides structured incubation support, strategic mentoring, networking opportunities, access to funding linkages, and enterprise development assistance — ensuring that promising ideas evolve into scalable, sustainable ventures. Together, CIIE, IIC, and Dnyanavishkar Foundation create a powerful bridge between academia, industry, investors, and society. Through hackathons, innovation challenges, start-up bootcamps, rural and social innovation initiatives, and strong industry collaborations, students gain hands-on exposure to solving real-world challenges while developing leadership, resilience, and entrepreneurial competence.
