Welcome to the Learning Resource Plaza at DYPIU. Library is situated on 3rd floor and is spread over 3810 sq. feet with seating capacity of 100 students.
DYPIU holds the rich collection of more than 2100 print text as well as reference books in the domain of Computer Science, Commerce & Management, Journalism, Mass Media & Communication, Design, Pure & Applied Sciences, General Management, Non-Fiction, etc.
It has also subscribed to various E-Resources such as ‘EBSCO E-Books Academic Collection’, ‘J-Gate Complete’, ‘DELNET Digital Library’, ‘Magzter’ and ‘https://prowessiq.cmie.com/ under which campus wide & remote access to more than 2, 50,000 + e-books, 50,000+ e-Journals, 5,500+ e-magazines & e-newspapers, 12,000+ Conference Proceedings, 1, 20,000+ Thesis & Dissertations, Financial data of Indian Companies has been made accessible for the users.
The library also has access to ‘Drillbit Plagiarism Detection Software’ under the Shodh Shuddhi program of INFLIBNET: Inter University Centre of UGC, Gandhinagar (Gujarat).
Library also Subscribes to ‘Turnitin Plagiarism detection software’ for students and Faculty Members of IU.

Library is fully automated with ‘Koha’ Integrated Library Management System. Koha has a wide range of features, including cataloguing, circulation, acquisitions, and serials management, Koha follows international standards like MARC21. Koha has a very user-friendly interface and Web- OPAC for book search facility.
Learning Resource Plaza has implemented RFID Technology. Implementation of RFID Technology ensures safety of library material, automatic operations like Self Check- in, check -out of books. OPAC Kiosk .
