  • Diploma in Liberal Arts: Awarded at the end of the 4th semester, subject to satisfactory academic performance in all semester examinations, attainment of a minimum CGPA of 4.00/10, and successful completion of the 4-credit summer internship.
  • Bachelor of Arts (Liberal Arts): Awarded at the end of the 6th semester with the applicable track, subject to satisfactory academic performance in all semester examinations and attainment of a minimum CGPA of 4.00/10.
  • Bachelor of Arts (Liberal Arts) Honours: Awarded at the end of the 8th semester with the applicable track, subject to satisfactory academic performance in all semester examinations and attainment of a minimum CGPA of 4.00/10.

At School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SoHSS), D Y Patil International University, Akurdi, Pune, we are committed to nurturing intellectually curious, socially responsible, and globally competent individuals. Aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the School fosters outcome-based learning, critical inquiry, ethical reflection, and holistic development.

Our programmes— B.A. (Honours) Liberal Arts with tracks in Psychology and English, and B.Sc. (Honours) Economics, are designed to combine academic depth with practical relevance. Through a research-driven and learner-focused approach, we encourage students to analyse complex human and economic realities and engage thoughtfully with contemporary societal challenges.

Learning at our School extends beyond the classroom through project-based learning, fieldwork, internships, and community engagement.
