DYPIU maintains six fully equipped bioengineering laboratories that support molecular biology, microbiology, biomedical, and translational research.

  • Incubators, incubator shakers, and CO₂ incubator facilities
  • Biosafety facilities including Class A2 Biosafety Hood
  • UV Spectrophotometer, digital colorimeter, and analytical instruments
  • Autoclaves, hot air ovens, heating mantles, and digital water baths
  • Laminar air flow units and fume hoods
  • Cooling centrifuges, microfuges, ultrasonicators, and vacuum pumps
  • PCR machine and electrophoretic systems
  • UV transilluminator and gel documentation support
  • Microscopes including compound, inverted, upright, and fluorescence microscopes with digital imaging systems
  • Cold storage facilities including refrigerators, deep freezers (–30°C and –80°C), and liquid nitrogen storage Dewars
